I'm half Spanish and half Colombian, my father is originally from Spain. I was born in Colombia and moved to the States in my mid teens.
Arter reading The Count of Monte Cristo, Gone with the Wind, and Don Quixot, I was inspired to write short stories and poetry in my early teens. Later on, I started to write novels and loved every minute of it.
I studied Fine Arts at Eastern Michigan University, and I was an editor for The MacGuffin literary journal for five years. I'm a member of Sisters in Crime. When not writing, I enjoy hiking, reading, traveling, painting, and photographing the mountains of New Mexico.
